Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and SpeakUp AI (“we”, “us”) and govern your access to our website, applications, and services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

SpeakUp AI is a communication-practice product. You hold spoken practice conversations with AI characters across scenarios such as interviews, difficult workplace conversations, and social situations, and receive automated coaching feedback afterwards.

The Service provides practice and educational feedback only. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified human professional.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

SpeakUp AI is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans in the future, with notice before any charge applies.

SpeakUp AI is completely free. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions, no trials and no locked features: every scenario, voice, coach and report is available to everyone at no cost, and no payment details are ever required.

We may apply reasonable fair-use limits if they are needed to keep the service reliable for everyone. You agree not to use automated means to access the Service beyond normal personal use.

You agree not to use the Service to break the law; harass, threaten, or abuse any person; generate or solicit sexual content involving minors; impersonate others deceptively; attempt to extract or reverse engineer our models, prompts, or source code; probe or disrupt our security; or resell the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or for us.

You keep ownership of the audio, transcripts, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content in order to operate and improve the Service, including generating transcripts and coaching feedback through our AI providers.

We and our licensors own the Service itself, including the software, scenarios, coaching frameworks, voices, branding, and design. You may not copy or reuse them except as these Terms allow.

AI-generated characters, scores, and coaching notes are produced automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. Use judgement before acting on them, especially for important decisions such as job interviews or workplace conversations.

We process personal data as described in our privacy notice, including account details, practice recordings and transcripts, and usage data. You can request export or deletion of your account data from your settings or by emailing support@speakup.ai.

We are actively developing the Service and may add, change, or remove features, scenarios, voices, or plan limits. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you creates material risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
